I don't remember Ahsoka's eyes being that piercingly blue in animation, but otherwise I think she looks good. To me, Filoni's productions are the best Star Wars simulacra that Disney has churned out, so I hope this show is at least as good as Mando.

As far as Im concerned, Boba Fett and Ahsoka are just spinoffs of Mando, and are basically the same show. Dont be surprised when Grogu shows up.
I still havent finished Andor, btw. Kind of tedious, honestly.

Boba Fett was definitely a Mando spinoff, but Ahsoka seems to be more of a sequel to Rebels, which I like. I think Rebels was one of the most consistent series Disney has put out, and it's been unjustly ignored, until now. I would say Rebels and Mando seasons 1 and 2 are some of the best Disney Star Wars products, and if Ahsoka is a marriage between those two, we should be in good hands.
I dropped Andor after the third or fourth episode, and I have no desire whatsoever to try and finish it. Didn't feel at all like Star Wars to me. And I quite liked Rogue One.

Looks... Alright, I guess? Rosario Dawson is good in the role in my opinion. She's got a good presence. And I for one liked Rebels quite a bit, so I'm glad to see a continuation of it. Ahsoka may not be one of my favorite characters, but her master is, so here's hoping we'll see more of him.

The trailer would hint to me that Anakin/Vader won't be a big thing. There's not even a hint of the character of it in the trailer. But perhaps that's the point 
If it's a sequel to anything, it's a sequel to Rebels. Come on... look at the characters, Stamp.

I was disappointed that Anakin wasn't featured in the trailer, but I'm pretty sure Disney wants to finally deliver on an Anakin Force Ghost appearance after many fans felt he was snubbed by his no-show in Rise of Skywalker. And Mandalorian is a sequel to Rebels. Same difference. I can definitely see where you're coming from. Season one not as much, but season two started to introduce Ahsoka and other things from The Clone Wars and Rebels. So there is a throughline there. But Ahsoka seems to directly pick up threads left over from Rebels. |

Don't like that they included swearing I can't imagine this show will have swearing. I'm getting cartooney vibes. More PG than a 12+ rating. I was disappointed that Anakin wasn't featured in the trailer, but I'm pretty sure Disney wants to finally deliver on an Anakin Force Ghost appearance after many fans felt he was snubbed by his no-show in Rise of Skywalker. Yeah, that one still hurts. I pretend TROS doesn't exist. I'm not so downbeat that he didn't appear in this trailer though, I hadn't been anticipating it. It popped out of nowhere on my YouTube feed. What a wonderful surprise! I hear Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 is happening in London right now. Just give me a great scene between Force Ghost Sky Guy and his beloved little sister Snips and I will be happy. That would be something, wouldn't it? Perhaps the best idea is to share out Anakin/Vader between the different series? Or maybe a film appearance is still in order? Looks like Lucasfilm and the director weren't lying when they said they hadn't planned for a season 2 of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The notion only came from the high interest during its broadcast. I wonder what the state of play is now? Go searching, I will!

TROS is a delightful Star Wars movie, but it fails at being a conclusion to The Skywalker Saga. Anakin only getting a brief voice cameo is one major reason it fails in that regard.

The only Star Wars movie I like to pretend doesn't exist is The Force Awakens. That entire movie was built upon prequel hatred and pandering to those haters. With TRoS, Disney clearly changed tack and even had prequel hater JJ praising a scene from Revenge of the Sith. It was too little too late, but I still give TRoS a pass for at least being a moderately entertaining movie. TFA is just mind-numbingly dull to me. |

IMDb is still giving Christensen a high billing on the show. Second only to the title character (as in Kenobi). Wikipedia has him much further below.
I think they're trying hard to hide Anakin/Vader's participation in the show. Recall Christensen shying away from the question during the release of Obi-Wan, or Dawson having to delete a tweet referring to "Sky guy."
I sure hope it was more fun to make. They seemed to be jammed up with those masks everywhere for Obi-Wan, it looks ridiculous for something so human as acting and directing your actors.
Seeker of the Whills I take your point, TFA was the shoddy foundations, and it was indeed severely handicapped form there on. You can't build a castle on top of a swamp. TLJ found an innovative way to make things even worse. While Abrams had changed by TROS a fair bit, he was never able to properly show appreciation in his films. By TROS it was all too late, like applying shock therapy to a patient already terminally ill.

I’m taking a “Just Here For Godzilla” (see TV Tropes) approach to this series- I know its storylines will feed into an overarching plot I’m not a fan of, but I am interested in seeing how Anakin is used, either as a ghost or flashback entity.

One thing about the announcements out of Celebration this year is how blatantly obvious it is now that they didn't fucking mean it in the slightest when they labeled Episode 9 the end of the Skywalker Saga. Hahahaha.

As long as they don't do something stupid like resurrect Padme, I'm fine with her returning. She could be a different character entirely if she plays an alien or something. Haha. And uggghh. The Padme with knife idea and being a damsel in distress bullshit needs to die. I'm so glad that got cut. The fixation on that one baffles me.
