While running the Empire as Palpatine's iron fist, Darth Vader was also moonlighting as a musician under a pseudonym.

Ah, combining my favorite artist with my favorite genre. You just broke the Internets. What a stupidly cool image.

Not by me, btw. I saw it on fb. It said the artist was Mike... Mc... Nary, or something like that. I can't find it anymore.

These are nice and simple, while hitting home with the major structural & iconic ideas at work in the unfolding of the story. If there were ones for the PT, I'd say TPM would have Nute Gunray at the top with a blockaded Naboo behind him. Then Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan fighting Maul. And of course Ani with the twin suns. AotC would have Jango with Tipoca City behind him, Yoda fighting Dooku of course, Then Anakin and Padmé getting married or I the archway to the arena. RotS would have Sidious and the Death Star, then Anakin & Obi-Wan fighting, and Padmé at her funeral procession. Or maybe the twins.

Well, I watched the "Star Wars Trilogy: Final Cut" fan edit, and, it's good. The guy managed to expand the space battle in ROTJ by a handful of shots and it feels like the real deal. It doesn't exactly fix the color grading issues, but it looks better. Especially in Return of the Jedi. And I have to say, that Jabba scene in ANH never really worked. Of every fan edit of these movies that I've seen, it's the first one that feels respectful to GL's vision. Not censored, just scaled back a bit. Also, they aged Anakin for the last scene. Thoughts?

I was at another improv event today, and in one scene (I wasn't in), one lady said to another improviser, "Please don't look at me like that, it makes me feel uncomfortable."
And I was wondering if it was a subconscious quote, a conscious one, or a coincidence.

Forget Stormtroopers, this guy is the worst shot in the whole galaxy. I don't think he'd ever gotten certified on that cannon, but was the only guy around that knew where it had been put.

Another Star Wars improv moment. It's a longo tale-o, but I was in a scene where, a character who was playing my sister and I were getting into a horse costume and auditioning for a new Star Wars movie. She asked me how she was supposed to hold her lightsaber in the horse costume. She said if she holds it in her mouth she can't use it very accurately. Then I replied, "Oh, don't worry, it's the new Star Wars, so it doesn't matter." And someone else ended the scene there.

Here a song that's pretty pertinent to Anakin, and Star Wars in general.
