I know there are things in this video that some may not agree with, but it speaks to the core of who and what Star Wars has been about. It's truly something beautiful.

Y'all might wanna get comfy for this one. And for those who want to focus on the real good stuff... I've watched this thing 5 times in the past few days. I'm passing it around to friends. This was a long time coming. Gotta say, we knew a lot of this stuff, but it takes someone with a real film history knowledge to make this documentary, and frankly, I don't have it. I will be taking notes the next time I watch this and try to catch up a bit. I love how he eviscerates the youtube film critics. We really need to make sure we download this in case it gets taken down. I sort of have a feeling it might get taken down. Hopefully not. Actually, people need to screen this thing in theaters.

It's been up for 4 months. I think it'll survive.

Rick Worley really did a brilliant job with the video- It really lays down and proves, once and for all, that the criticisms directed towards the PT are complete and utter nonsense, and that the hostility showed by the media and fandom demonstrates a fundamental lack of the understanding of the medium. I mean, just look at the Oscars- we are so accustomed to seeing movies as plays that the only award that gets talked about is who won Best Actor and such, not who won best cinematography, or best sound editing, or best film editing.

He references over 100 films in that video. I sat down and wrote down almost every movie and short film in it, and it filled up at least 4 pages. Because of this video, I've started watching at least one movie I've never seen before every day, and I've been talking to Rick regularly. Feel free to send him your thanks. It's the least we could do. And he is working on more videos.

This would also count as a pro-prequel article, despite it's seemingly "anti" title. Beautifully written, and while it will certainly be of the scorn of PrequelMemes, it's quite something to look at. www.cbr.com/clone-wars-star-wars-let-go-prequel/

I love the character compilation videos! Hero Fan Productions and AD edit are probably the best. But there's also this guy:

Why do we need a new one? Prequel Appreciation already has 1,279 subscribers, although your one at 649 after 1 month would appear to be growing quickly.

It's quoted in my rebuttal and remains one of my favourite pieces on AOTC.

I overshot a date I was desperate to hit: Feb 20th 2020. Why? 20 / 02 / 2020 AOTC came out 2002 (and is Episode II). Would have been really freaking cool to release it then. Now, I'm aiming for March 20th. One month over. Although, I guess it no longer matters what date I choose, just so long as the thing actually escapes my grasp! So yeah... Around then. After Christmas, I got lazy and stopped tweaking. I was working on it like a fiend before then. You've just given me a nudge. Every time someone mentions one of my sources, or brings up an issue I address in the rebuttal, I become more eager to set it all in order and release it into the cold light of day. I keep allowing myself to seemingly get scooped! Okay, honestly, I'll try and finish it in the next week. The wait will soon be over. Thanks for your continued interest, AD.

Beautiful words from the Revenge of the Sith novelisation.
Lengthy Attack of the Clones essay, and a lot more recent that 2002:

Oh mah god YES! DuduFilm is incredible at his tribute videos. He pinned my comment on his video about the Clones, which was this essay saying why the music aids his imagery. Quality content for sure.

"The Republic is not what it once was..."
This one might be even better. It's the best video montage/reel of Palpatine I've ever seen.
This one from the novelisation on Anakin is very good too:
