Yoda and Shmi both use sunset imagery to convey inevitable change and the passing of time, things and people. 'Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall." "But you can't stop the change, any more than you can stop the suns from setting." And sand is the ultimate symbol of time and change. Sand is the end result of even the largest mountains after enough time. When you walk through sand, you're walking through eons of time and change.

Why did Leia just let Han fall onto the ground when she thawed him from the Carbonite.
And when Luke was carrying Vader to a ship on the Death Star, why didn't any of those officers and Stormtroopers running around go, "Darth Vader? Holy shit, here let me help you!"

Why did Leia just let Han fall onto the ground when she unthawed him from the Carbonite. Notice in that scene there's a pile of large couch pillows behind them. She could've at least thrown some down first, you'd think. But I don't blame her for not taking the hit ...for the same reasons women don't serve as firefighters. Gina Carano Leia is not. And when Luke was carrying Vader to a ship on the Death Star, why didn't any of those officers and Stormtroopers running around go, "Darth Vader? Holy shit, here let me help you!" "Darth Vader? Holy shit, here let me help you!"
"Mike. The Death Star is about to explode any minute. Seriously. Fuck management."
*Mike promptly agrees*

Did Han stay the same age while he was frozen?

"Stay close to me and you'll be safe." -Qui-Gon JinnI think about this small piece of dialogue as often as the more profound one that immediately precedes it. Wisdom is often concerned with how to act reasonably in trying or unexpected circumstances so you can avoid unnecessary suffering and hardship. In other words, examining/improving your character (i.e., knowing thyself). In a way, it's a form of divining or foresight. If you know your own limits, predilections, temptations, strengths, etc. you can potentially avoid significant pitfalls and anticipate your future to a considerable extent. "[Seeing] things before they happen..." as Qui-Gon provides earlier on in the film. And this remarkable power resides within all of us to some degree or another - kinda like something else in the GFFA we've heard so much about... Anyway, I think I've steered clear of so many dangers, mishaps and dead-ends in my life when I've respected - and stayed close to - what Qui-Gon embodies: wisdom of the ages. So, this piece of writing is a loaded little detail I deeply appreciate.

So, this piece of writing is a loaded little detail I deeply appreciate. Care to expand one what specific dead ends you avoided? It's nothing unfamiliar to this community but I'll keep it short and appropriately themed at the risk of delving into too-personal specifics: not letting go in matters of creativity, career and relationships. As a result, I feel not only safe but less confused, dissonant and distracted than many around me who've followed more possessive, material dictums in life. Painfully familiar? I really love the Special Edition CGI Dewbacks in ANH. While I love the extensive use of CGI in the PT, something about the reserved use of it in the Special Editions has its own kind of magic. The blend of practical and CGI elements is excellent in my opinion.
