Well, either the Andor trailer looks incrediblely good for Disney Star Wars, or I'm just a sucker. Visually, it does look far more impressive than Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Wow.
So, this is the part where I'm supposed to "reserve judgment" until more revealing elements, trailers etc. might possibly influence my opinion otherwise. Thing is, no.
This stuff doesn't exist in a void; an entire ecosystem is on display here. I almost have to applaud Disney-Lucasfilm, morbidly -- like, flaming, radioactive train wreck = 10/10 score levels of morbidity -- for their, ahem, commitment. Lindelof alone... how does this fucking fraud keep getting work? And Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy's credits read like a shopping list for current year Hollywood's robotic fixations.
I'm so happy that Star Wars on the big screen will finally be done proper.

LOST is my favourite TV show, but I don't appreciate that one line from Hurley about how Ewok's suck (which speaks volumes about Lindelof's attitude towards Star Wars). So...Even I am nervous about a Lindelof Star Wars movie.

This stuff doesn't exist in a void; an entire ecosystem is on display here. It has been on display since at least 2015, but this might be its biggest ad. I've already accepted the death of Star Wars, but the continued desecration of its corpse is depressing.

Tough crowd. All this hatred is exhausting. What's the old saying—Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...? *starts counting off fingers*
Anyways, not hatred. More like...awe.

I will say this though, I love LOST for the same reasons I love Star Wars. So, Damon does get Star Wars...Except for the "goofier" or more eccentric aspects like Ewoks. So, he gets it, just not completely. You can say the same for JJ.
And to be fair, Prometheus is nowhere near as bad as it was made out to be.

They announced a Dawn of the Jedi movie, a movie to conclude the Mando series, and a New Jedi Order movie starring Rey. Feel free to discuss.

Dawn of the Jedi, as in the comics series? I liked those comics. Don't know how to feel about a Rey movie. Is it another numbered saga trilogy or a standalone?

I saw the Ahosoka series. It looks to be what I expected, a follow-up to Rebels. I saw a cast photo for The Acolyte...The lead actress looked to be cosplaying as Padme (although the costume was not exact). I had no desire to watch that show, but then she throws some love at Padme like that. Now I feel like I should simp for The Acolyte, but probably not going to despite even that. xD
The great thing about a Jedi movie with Rey is we might actually get to see how the Jedi Order is rebuilt Post Empire and Post First Order.

Lindelof is already out of the Rey project-
still if we consider Lucasfilms rate of getting this done odds are that movie never gets made, and we only see the Filoni and Mangold films.

The news made me feel more distant from a regular Star Wars fan since... a long time, probably the ST era. The ST is just non-existent to me and Lucasfilm moving projects in that direction and time period puts me off. I think my fandom is ending again, after being reignited for a few years through some of the TV shows. Once Mando moves too much into ST territory, it's also done for me (haven't seen Season 3 yet).
I don't hate the ST or anything, but it's just not part of my Star Wars.

I like that Mangold's Star Wars will take place 25,000 years before the main saga. That's what I want, a series located very distantly in time to what we already have.

On the one hand, yes, I agree. There is potential. On the other hand, though, this moves us back into pure fanfic territory again. Disney making stuff up on how the Jedi came to be or the origin of the Force are things I just feel should be artistically limited to the maker, George. This is, again, just me. I know. But I feel more comfortable incoporating whatever parts I like that take place close to the Lucas saga than elements that are more removed or just far-fetched.

I hope they base at least some of it on the comic book series of the same name. Disney seems to be more open now to mining the Lucas era EU for ideas, which I like. Those comics were pretty awesome, from what I remember. Lucas may not have been involved with the EU, but it was still produced during his reign, so somehow it feels more authentic to me than Disney's Star Wars.
