I'm thinking of starting a new thread for in-universe fan OC. I love that New York Post style front page oh so, so much Would people here be interested in creating such content? It is a change from making your millionth prequel fan trailer.
Yeah, a thread for mock magazine covers and advertising flyers would be pretty cool.

I'm warning you jppiper, if you start referring to leaked material on here (ie "whats your opinion on https...."), we will not be happy.
Take you discussion of leaked material elsewhere.

A big SPOILER WARNING in BOLD TEXT should be mandatory when sharing such info. Ideally, leaked material for upcoming projects should go in its own thread.

Random observation:
Never seen Naberrie Fields so busy, so lit!
Must be that darn new Obi-Wan miniseries or something.

6-7pm EST tends to be the most popular visiting time for this time.
Also, I may be both member and guest. I visited on my phone, where I'm not logged in

It's like an ewok blew his battle horn.

Some of the reasons I'm more active:
-I FINALLY finished that post on Anakin's Fall (after about 2 months of working on it on and off), so I have more energy to post. Writing is stressful so if I am busy writing something I don't post as much. -May the 4th and Obi-Wan Kenobi -There have been some fun little topics posted lately. Like Ingram's favorite trailers.

New "Most Users Online". We did it, Naberrians folks!
Also, way too much interest in the numbers viewing this introduction section. The real action is elsewhere

Also, I may be both member and guest. I visited on my phone, where I'm not logged in We've all got a dual existence on this site! But seriously, yeah, the software does do that. A guest is basically anyone (or anything -- let's remember bots) not logged in. Some of the reasons I'm more active: -I FINALLY finished that post on Anakin's Fall (after about 2 months of working on it on and off), so I have more energy to post. Writing is stressful so if I am busy writing something I don't post as much. -May the 4th and Obi-Wan Kenobi -There have been some fun little topics posted lately. Like Ingram's favorite trailers. I get like when I'm writing something big. There's a lot of tension until it's finished. Sometimes, as well: I want to say something, but in just the right way, and I hold back and become deterred from posting. Like there'll be one thing annoying me, because I'm not adding to it or saying what I want to, and that sometimes causes me to avoid all topics and refrain from input. It's like I'm conditioning myself to not respond to anything else, in punishment for failing to deal with that one stumbling block first. Kind of an OCD thing, in a way. Anyway, this is the biggest sudden leap in activity, I think, since the release of TROS. I don't hold that to be a trivial coincidence. Star Wars needs big releases to draw attention and boost engagement. Our message board appears to function along the same lines.

@all Ewan and Hayden are appearing on live TV in the UK tomorrow, promoting the new Obi-Wan series. They're asking for questions in advance. Have you got any ideas? Would you send in a video? Do share with us on the Kenobi thread

Anyone know what's up with all the vanished images in this often-cited thread? I was about to cite it myself. As an early participant, you might have an idea Samnz

The answer is pretty mundane: File-sharing websites are notoriously unreliable and most things on the Internet are transient. There are plenty of picture and video links already broken on Naberrie Fields, and this website wasn't even founded until several years after that thread began. They break everywhere every day. Cyberspace is amazingly useless when it comes to content sticking around, especially if that content is hostage to specific media-sharing locations, as most pictures and videos are.

I have also, sadly, observed that many of the pics I uploaded years ago have gone. The upload provider apparantly removed them after a certain time span and the links leading to the provider are empty now. It's a shame, but can't be changed, I guess.

That's a shame. I suppose the best case is when the forum website itself is able to host them. It seems like in the 2000s, pre social media era, there were a lot of internet services, not exactly so professional either, that could disappear in an instant, and you'd never never be able to track them down. Imgur, a popular image host today, seems like it'll be around for many, many years.

Case in point: I posted a link to this video, a new upload at the time, only eight weeks ago. It has now been set to "private": All this BS is so tiring.
