Is this the most perplexing and fun thread in all of Naberrie ? 🤣 Naberrie? Is that our name now? Not Naberrie Fields? NF? I kinda like it. My horse, my horse, (all of) Naberrie for a horse. Or a shaak. What I'm saying is, there is nothing greater than Naberrie, except for Ingram's Inflatable Gorilla House of Silica Gel Cereal & Fun, which exists within the kingdom of Naberrie.

I saw it as a reference to Mayberry, from The Andy Griffith show, starring little Ron Howard as Opie. Who later starred in American Grafitti, which turns 50 this summer.

I don't remember seeing that commercial as a kid. Perhaps it was before I had television. I do remember seeing Hayden's Goosebumps episode, though. Boy, did I watch A LOT of Goosebumps.

Me neither. I'm thinking that commercial was only in Canada. Were there great events in Canada's history?
Looks like being a shutterbug runs strong in the Skywalker family.

I guess it depends on what one considers great. There is also the factor of whether it is great for everyone or great for Canada specifically. Canadians do like to joke that Canadian history is notoriously boring. I would say Terry Fox was a pretty damn great moment in Canadian history, though. I'd throw the legalization of gay marriage in 2005 onto the list of great moments too.
Back to Hayden: I adore his signature squirmy awkwardness. It is one of the reasons he is so perfect for Anakin.

Yes, everything Hayden did on screen as Anakin is what Lucas was looking for, he was chosen for a specific reason. He's got a charm mixed with a sense he's dealing with some troubles. It's interesting looking at Hayden's other work and interviews and seeing what he brings to the table. And it's amazing how much overlap there is with all his characters, even down to the dialogue. In fact, in the very next moment of that Goosebumps episode, Hayden drops his book titled "How To Conquer Your Fears". And at the end of the episode, he thought it was all a bad dream. 1973, what a year. Mind Games by John Lennon The cover of which features yin/yang clouds and twin suns. Which features You're Sixteen, the video of which introduced the world to none other than...
