TESB and ROTJ have one each so it makes sense to do a Thread on the Film that Started it All so what Thoughts Memories and BTS stuff do you remember about the Original Star Wars film?

I don't know. It's the film that started it all and in some ways probably still the best of them. I'm not sure, but I think Episode IV was the last the Original Six that I managed to see and I remember having been a bit underwhelmed back then - probably because I was so enthralled by the grandiosity of the Prequels that I had recently discovered and the family drama that picks up speed again in Episode V.
With all six of Lucas' films easily available, I'm still amazed how well ANH works with ROTS back to back. They complement each other so well and I think Lucas was the most focused and "straight-forward" with these two, having a clear mind of the kind of story he wanted to tell and sticking to that story focus rather relentlessly.
Great movie.
