Can't tell if Ingram is sad or happy about a Willow sequel I'm more for it than against. Another one of those in the long list of approach with caution.

I agree Burton's Batman movies are the best. I actually think Batman Returns is the best because it's more Burton-y. All the other directors go too far in one particular direction, but I feel Burton found the perfect balance of all of Batman films' potential aspects. And unlike the first one, I saw Returns in the theater, so it holds a special place in my heart, personally. I thought I'm the only one who thinks that Burton' s Batmans are the best, while I prefer the first one. I do not like Nolan's movies for two reasons:I don't like Nolan's movies in general, but especially in Batman's case I do not like the pretention for pseudo-realism. I mean, why? Batman should be gothic, grim tale of a typical megapolis , rotten with corruption and crime where everything is not what it seems to be. Speaking of this, I hate the idea of Batman being a playboy (is not from Nolan's movies, it came first in the comics, still). Is just absurd: only a nerd presented as Michael Keaton showed it could spend his free time saving the poor souls of Gotham instead of having a good time with some pretty girl. This aside, the visual style and the plot presented in Burton's Batman is the most Bat-type I have ever seen.

Anyone here seen 5-25-77? I've always wanted to but haven't. It looks amazing! Too bad its release has been promised for nearly a decade. Patrick Read Johnson is a talented guy but this film's never-release is utterly baffling. EDIT: It feels like nearly a decade. Filming actually took place 2004-2006 and a premiere screening was held in 2017. Bizarre. Whaddayaknow? It was recently announced that the film will be released on Blu-ray this October! www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0B3S7ZBKZ/thedigitalbit-20

Another rad promo-trailer, back when they still did shit like this. I miss back-whens.
This one's a pretty elaborate, full-on production that costs around $150,000. Fun fact: it was directed by Stan Winston.
