I never get what's so confusing about this scene. It's a bouncy musical number in a seedy bar, it's the opening of Temple of Doom in essence. Sure, the bizarre aliens are 'in your face', but that's true with the puppets in the cantina too. One aspect of the change I really like is the way the jaunty song is suddenly interrupted by the reminder of Jabba's vile nature when he drops Oola into the pit. It's more of a jarring contrast that works to enhance the moment. |

That post has been discused somewhere in these forums, but people being willing to use an simple fun anectdote form Ewan to shit on George is astonishing, do they really think actors are so dumb to no undestand basic things like acting suspicious? , yeah Ewan thought a way to pull it of instead of George,that doesn't mean he didn't undestand what George wanted. |

Well, I see people complain that TPM leaves too much up to the imagination.
It's one of the biggest talking points for people who champion watching in release order. They say the OT explains more about who the Jedi are and what they do.
So once again, it comes down to one's point of view.
